Ayodhya: Falgun Krishna Tritiya, Samvat 2028 (February 27, 2024) - The three-day meeting of the Central Board of Trustees and the Governing Council of Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) concluded today at Karsevakpuram in the holy city of Ayodhya Dham in Uttar Pradesh. In the meeting, after discussing the current situation of the country, plans were also made for the expansion of the VHP organization in its Shashtipurti year (Diamond Jubilee Year/60th Anniversary) to deal with the challenges facing the Hindu society. The newly elected Secretary General of Vishva Hindu Parishad, Shri Bajrang Lal Bagra said that the representatives from Bharat and abroad discussed many topics in the meeting and resolved that as the grand Temple of Nativity of Shri Ram has, at long last, after five-centuries, been re-built, now, we, with the spread of Ramtva (Holistic, Altruistic and Syncretic Ram Consciousness, refinement, grace and dignity) in the organization, society and the diaspora Hindus, will re-establish a highly cultured and strong society. For this, by the end of this Shashtipurti year of VHP, we will ensure the organizational footprints of our work in about 100,000 (One Lakh) places across the country. We will again ensure a cultured, enlightened, committed, dedicated and safe Hindu society by again invoking the values of Shri Ram in the conscience and consciousness of every person.
The VHP Secretary General said that subjects such as expansion of Seva work, protection and promotion of our cow progeny, stopping of religious conversions, giving more speed to the Ghar-Wapsi (Home-Coming) work were also discussed in detail in the meeting. The representatives from various countries outside Bharat also presented their action plans to strengthen the liaison, togetherness and coordination among Hindus living in their respective countries and work out proper solutions for their concerns and issues.
Shri Bagra said, while congratulating the Uttarakhand government on implementing the Uniform Civil Code (UCC), the Board of Trustees expressed the hope that the rest of the states of Bharat would also enact their respective strong Uniform Civil Codes, so that discrimination among the countrymen can end and also all children and women can get equal rights.
He also said that we have done a lot of work in terms of social harmony, but a lot more needs to be done. Some states have made strict laws to stop religious conversions, but the Board of Trustees also urged that other states should also go in for similar laws. It was also underlined that as soon as the rules of CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act) come into the public domain and play, our Karyakartas ought to take immediate action to ensure Bharatiya citizenship for Hindu, Jain, Sikh and Buddhist brothers and sisters from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh, who have taken refuge in Bharat to save themselves from religious persecution and socio-economic traumatisation.
The meeting also expressed happiness over the election (under the protocol of triennial elections) of the current Working President and senior advocate Shri Alok Kumar as the International President of Vishva Hindu Parishad and the current Joint General Secretary Shri Bajrang Lal Bagra as the new Secretary General. Along with this, the meeting also approved, with the chant of “OM”, the appointment of the present Secretary General Shri Milind Parande as the Central Sangathan Mahamantri (Organization General Secretary) of VHP and Shri Vinayak Rao Deshpande as the Sah Sangathan Mahamantri (Organization Co-General Secretary).
This meeting is organized every 6 months in which the trustees of Vishva Hindu Parishad living all over the world and the members of the Governing Council participate. A total of 371 representatives participated in this Ayodhya meeting. VHP's newly elected International President and senior advocate Shri Alok Kumar and Joint General secretary Dr. Surendra Jain was also present in the press conference.

अयोध्या। फाल्गुन कृष्ण तृतीया, सम्वत 2028 (फरवरी 27, 2024)। विश्व हिन्दू परिषद की केंद्रीय प्रन्यासी मंडल व प्रबंध समिति की त्रिदिवसीय बैठक आज उत्तर प्रदेश के अयोध्या धाम के पवित्र स्थल कार सेवक पुरम् में संपन्न हो गई। बैठक में देश की वर्तमान स्थिति पर चर्चा कर हिंदू समाज के समक्ष खड़ी चुनौतियों से निपटने के लिए षष्ठी पूर्ति वर्ष में संगठन के विस्तार की योजनाएं भी बनाई गईं। विश्व हिन्दू परिषद के नव-निर्वाचित महामंत्री श्री बजरंग लाल बागड़ा ने आज कहा कि बैठक में देश - विदेश से पधारे प्रतिनिधियों ने अनेक विषयों पर चर्चा के साथ यह संकल्प लिया की भगवान श्री राम का भव्य मंदिर तो बन गया, अब हम संगठन, समाज और विदेशस्त हिंदुओं में रामत्व के प्रसार के साथ संस्कारित व सबल समाज की पुनर्स्थापना करेंगे। इसके लिए विहिप के इस षष्ठीपूर्ति वर्ष के अंत तक हम देश भर में लगभग एक लाख स्थानों तक अपने कार्य का विस्तार करेंगे। श्री राम की मर्यादाओं की पुनर्स्थापना जन-जन के अंतःकरण में करा कर एक संस्कारवान, समर्पित व सुरक्षित हिंदू समाज बनाएंगे।
विहिप महामंत्री ने कहा कि सेवा कार्यों का विस्तार, गौ रक्षा व गौ संवर्धन के साथ धर्मांतरण को रोकने व घर वापसी के कार्य को और गति देने के बारे में भी बैठक में विस्तार से चर्चा हुई। विदशों में बसे हिंदुओं के साथ संपर्क व समन्वय को और अधिक मज़बूत बना कर उनकी समस्याओं के यथोचित समाधान हेतु भी अनेक देशों से आए प्रतिनिधियों ने अपनी कार्य योजना बताई।
श्री बागड़ा ने बताया कि समान नागरिक संहिता लागू करने पर उत्तराखंड सरकार का अभिनंदन करते हुए प्रन्यासी मंडल ने आशा व्यक्त की शेष राज्य भी एक सशक्त समान नागरिक संहिता लाएंगे जिससे देशवासियों के बीच भेदभाव समाप्त हो कर सभी बच्चों व महिलाओं को समान अधिकार मिल सकें।
उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि सामाजिक समरसता की दृष्टि हमने बहुत कार्य किया है किंतु अभी और बहुत कुछ करने की आवश्यकता है। धर्मांतरण रोकने के लिए कुछ राज्यों ने कठोर कानून बनाए हैं किंतु अन्य राज्य भी इस बारे में आगे बढ़ें, इस बात पर भी प्रन्यासी मंडल ने चिंतन किया। CAA यानी नागरिकता संशोधन अधिनियम के नियम जारी होते ही हमारे कार्यकर्ता पाकिस्तान, अफगानिस्तान और बांग्लादेश से धर्म आधारित उत्पीड़न का शिकार हिंदू जैन, सिख, बौद्ध बंधु भगिनियों की नागरिकता के संदर्भ में भी शीघ्रता के साथ कार्रवाई करें, ऐसा भी निवेदन हुआ।
त्रिवार्षिक चुनाव की प्रक्रिया के अंतर्गत विश्व हिन्दू परिषद के अंतरराष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष के रूप में वर्तमान कार्याध्यक्ष व वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ता श्री आलोक कुमार तथा नवीन महामंत्री के रूप में वर्तमान संयुक्त महामंत्री श्री बजरंग लाल बागड़ा को निर्वाचित किए जाने पर भी सदन ने हर्ष व्यक्त किया। साथ ही विहिप के केंद्रीय संगठन महामंत्री के रूप में वर्तमान महामंत्री श्री मिलिंद परांडे और सह संगठन महामंत्री के रूप में श्री विनायक राव देशपांडे की नियुक्ति को भी सदन ने ओम की ध्वनि के साथ स्वीकृति प्रदान की।
यह बैठक हर 6 महीने में आयोजित की जाती है जिसमें विश्व हिन्दू परिषद के संपूर्ण विश्व में रहने वाले प्रन्यासी तथा प्रबंध समिति के सदस्य भाग लेते हैं। इस अयोध्या बैठक में कुल 371 प्रतिनिधियों ने भाग लिया। प्रेस वार्ता में विहिप के नवनिर्वाचित अंतर्राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष व वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ता श्री आलोक कुमार तथा संयुक्त महामंत्री डॉ सुरेन्द्र जैन भी उपस्थित थे।
