Kolar: Smiles were brought to those usual wilted faces of prisoners at Kolar when Vishwa Hindu Parishat and Bajarangadal celebrated Holi, the festival of colours with them. Premises of The district headquarters sub jail of Kolar, Karnataka were different, joyful,created awareness among prisoners to being a well-mannered individual in future life. The holy festival celebrated with prisoners was with a sole aim to imbue the spirit of community living enlighted with trust, peace and prosperity and to devoid of all anti-social activities. Prisoners made their minds to give up a life which was full of sin and betrayal so far, are now ready to accept a new beginning. Jail authorities welcomed the event which was organized by VHP to make the prisoners to transform and to lead a life common, responsible citizen of the society.
Dr Shivanna, a well-known physician of Kolar presided over the event. VHP district secterary Mukunda, D R Nagaraj, Vijayakumar, Jayanthi lal, Appi, Balaji, Kadam Ram, Shivakumar, Ravi, Bajarangadal District Convener Babu and several others were present during this porgramme for a genuine social cause.
